Military camouflage face paints are based on geographical and environmentalcolor palettes, where being and staying hidden requires local information andsources. In reference to sources such as trees, earth, stone, and sand, the colorblue is not included in the palettes considering the soldier's terrain does notintermesh with the sky and the sea. "You Can't Hide in the Sky" is a series ofpaintings portraying the skyline and natural scenery with limitation of color andtools, applied by finger and tear down by mount wet; selected terrains circulatewhere a soldier might be in or looking, mutating into only sunset-like skies orfocusing to the ground, soil, roots, mountains, and rocks with a lack of blue.
