Claire Chesnier

December 2024
Claire Chesnier's first monograph presents the artist's work through more than ten years of painting, ink and paper.
The publication takes place within a cycle of exhibitions by the artist running from late 2024 to 2025 and 2026. This cycle coincides with Claire Chesnier's participation in the exhibition Dans le flou, des années 50 à nos jours at the Musée de l'Orangerie. The structure of the book depicts a liquid continuum, a continuous search for the painter's gaze and touch , teaching something about our access to the visible, our address to reality.
