The Infinite Woman

The Fondation Carmignac presents The Infinite Woman at Villa Carmignac on the island of Porquerolles, in the South of France. Curated by Alona Prado, the exhibition focuses on the myriad of ways women have been represented to fit into patriarchal ideas throughout history; and artists who have challenged social norms and artistic boundaries regardless their gender.
The works in the exhibition disrupt conventional ideas of womanhood to reflect on feminine power and how the representation of women has shaped global cultural attitudes.
