The Dragon represents Lux Miranda’s deep interest in the dragon concept described as a mythical being in all civilisations around the world, representing ancestral fears while attracting men’s curiosity for centuries. The symbolism of this creature is related to, amongst other things, renewal and the cycles of life. The artist studied archeology, mythology and history of religions through texts and online archives in order to learn about the origins of this myth and found a link between the first dinosaurs’ fossils excavations and the creation of the dragon imagery.
